The first time I tried McDonald’s coffee, maybe a few years ago, it shocked me. It was surprisingly smooth and balanced. It didn’t taste like it had been sitting there on the burner for weeks. The person at the counter offered to add cream for me, which I gladly accepted.
Overall McDonald’s has consistently provided a great coffee-drinking experience. I would choose McDonald’s coffee over Starbucks (and the wrath it inflicts on my stomach) any day.
