Bunna Coffee Tea and Market — Tempe, AZ

January 21st, 2009 · No Comments · Arizona, Tempe

Stopped by Bunna Coffee Tea and Market today, a little coffee shot in Tempe, AZ, located on the corner of Elliot and Rural.

A shout out to the Cardinals on their menu, which raises the question, will they go the whole way this year (for the first time in like 200 years)?

Another large chunk of their menu and the back of the coffee shop layout:

I had the Sumatra. It was late in the morning and this was my first coffee for the day, so I gulped it down without really stopping to analyze the flavor. It was good for all the 10 seconds that it lasted though.

In their words, their Sumatra is: “Grown on Aceh province, on the only certified co-op in Indonesia. This coffee is processed using the traditional dry method. It has notes of spice, white pepper and mild fruit tones. “

As I was preparing my coffee for quick consumption, I noticed that they have organic sugar (Wholesome brand) which has a pleasant mixture of natural looking, non-bleached color.

The Bunna punch card, with a map on the back for your reference.
