I tend to assume that, the newer the fast food joint, the cleaner the food will be.
So my hopes were high as I wandered into this relatively new Burger King (in Tempe, on Broadway and McClintock) to get some $1 “value” burgers (easy on the mayo plz!).
In addition to my luxurious Whopper Jr.’s I also ventured to sample their BK Joe. It might not have been at it’s freshest since it was lunch-time, but no excuses, right?
Aroma: A cross between McDonald’s and Folgers.
Taste: Closer to Folgers, not quite as good as McDonald’s.
Burger King outsources their coffee. The company that supplies BJ with it’s Joe is: Douwe Egberts.
Alas, poor BK Joe, will I ever venture to imbibe your fare again?

I prefer the coffee that BK switched from. Wished I knew the name and where I could buy it.
