Environmental Plug: The Riti Coffee Printer

February 3rd, 2009 · No Comments · Environmentalism

I give you the Riti Coffee Printer:

(found on Inhabitat.com)

It uses spent coffee or tea grounds for ink, which prints directly onto paper made from real wood trees.

Basic design flaw: Reports would disappear left and right (or at least the ink off the page) thanks to fatigued office workers, fiending for another coffee fix.

Despite this one flaw, I think that this new green gadget is a step in the right direction. Seriously.

So go green! (or, in this case, more of a squirting brown)
