Peet’s Coffee — Major Dickason’s Blend

February 8th, 2009 · 1 Comment · Coffee

I finally got around to testing out one of the big players in the coffee industry: Peet’s Coffee. After my first experience (Major Dickason’s Blend) I have fallen in love with the balanced, pleasant flavor of this coffee–the sort of way a wayward boyfriend would fall in love with several girls at the same time and then tell each one separately that she is his one and only. So, in other words, my adoration for Peet’s Coffee hasn’t developed to the point that I will devote myself whole-heartedly to Peet’s and Peet’s alone… but I’m already getting there.

This cat represents my feelings toward the world before trying Peet’s Coffee today:

…and this is me afterward.
Once again, the name of this roasted masterpiece is Peet’s Coffee. I finally got the chance to try it because my local grocery store, Fry’s, started carrying it. I am digging the continually expanding coffee there… this was certainly a smart move bythe marketing departments at a bunch of coffee companies who, up until recently, were not so easy to find.

I have decided that Peet’s will go into my regular rotation along with Christopher Bean and Tully’s.

I used to go to the Peet’s Coffee location on Sunset in L.A. all the time. I loved it. Definitely great coffee. And they had some great ice-blended drinks too.
