According to this post by Melissa Allison (of the Seattle Times) Krispy Kremes in the Pacific north-west have slashed the prices of their regular coffee down to almost nothing. A small 12 ounce is now a nickel, a medium 16 ounce is now a dime and a large 20-ouncer is a dime plus a nickel.
Their goal is to keep traffic coming their their door, sell more doughnuts and maybe lift people’s spirits while their at it.
I’m tempted to make the thousand-mile drive from Phoenix so I can see this for myself. What a deal!
