Coffee Nomad

Sonic has decent burgers and coneys. But, unfortunately, my first experience with their iced mocha latte wasn’t so good.

There was only a vague hint of coffee flavor hiding behind the tidal wave of sugary sweetness. I asked the lady through the drive thru microphone if they use real espresso and she said “yes,” but it’s possible that she was just saying that to get the line moving.

The cost is about 25% less than a similarly titled product from Starbucks, but you’ll get a lot better quality for your money from the ‘Bux.

I’ve heard other people say that Sonic’s iced lattes are actually really good, so maybe i’ll try one again sometime in the near future.
