The grounds have a sweet, Maraschino cherry aroma. After brewing the aroma becomes more chocolaty. With milk and sugar it tastes exactly like chocolate-covered Maraschino cherries.
Harry and David’s Chocolate Cherry coffee would be a good after dinner/dessert coffee. In a group setting it would be an effective medium for socializing, like the coffee version of champagne. Did I mention that it tastes like chocolate-covered Maraschino cherries?
Yet again, I found Harry and David’s coffee to be low on acidity, easy to sip on all by itself, as a quality coffee should be.
I’d say those are pretty much my weaknesses – cherry and chocolate. It sounds like something I would definitely want with a rich chocolate cake.
