Have you ever had to gulp down the last third of your iced coffee to avoid that funky, watery phenomenon that happens when there is more ice than coffee in your cup? Well, there is no need to fret any more about this because some genius (a coffee drinker of course) figured out the perfect solution: Ice cubes made from coffee!

It’s easy: Just pour coffee or espresso into an ice cube tray and then freeze it over night. You can alter the strength, type and other ingredients of your cubes according to the iced beverage you intend to serve. Recommendation: Use ingredients and brewing potencies that are compatible with the drink (for example, don’t mix milk with the cubes if there’s a chance that someone doesn’t take milk in their iced coffee).
The traditional way to avoid watery iced coffee is to make extra strong coffee, but this makes for a less uniform iced coffee drinking experience — strong at first then weak at the end. Coffee ice cubes keep the drink chilled and maintain a consistent level of potency from beginning to end.
