I got a particularly stale bag of Walmart House Blend the other day (pre-ground of course). Around the same time I purchased a particularly chocolaty bag of Christopher Bean’s Jamaica Me Crazy blend. I suspect the Walmart coffee has been sitting on the shelf awhile.
I don’t mind drinking somewhat old, stale coffee because I can’t [...]

Someone gave me a cigar the other day with the recommendation that I pair it with a descent coffee. Certainly worth a try…
It was a lighter Nub cigar (Connecticut) and my coffee of choice was Christopher Bean’s Jamaican Blue Mountain, which is a versatile blend, good any time of the day.

Have I mentioned lately how good Christopher Bean Coffee is? The Jamaica Me Crazy blend has a mesmerizing combination of Kahlua, Chocolate, Nut and Caramel flavors.
I don’t usually like chocolate very much. But Jamaica Me Crazy, especially with a touch of milk and sugar, makes for a comforting cup of joe indeed.

I finally got around to testing out one of the big players in the coffee industry: Peet’s Coffee. After my first experience (Major Dickason’s Blend) I have fallen in love with the balanced, pleasant flavor of this coffee–the sort of way a wayward boyfriend would fall in love with several girls at the same time [...]

Christopher Bean’s Jamaica Blue Mountain blend is simply delightful (I don’t usually say things like that, but it just is!). It has a balanced flavor and leaves an interesting pumpkin pie aftertaste. It much much milder than their Jamaica Me Crazy blend, which is a good thing. I was in the mood [...]
